This book isn't a biography on Jonathan Edwards. There are others that give far more details on his life. What this does is chronicle how Edwards "resolved" to live his life to the glory of God in all things. Comparing the 70 Resolutions of Edwards to entries in his journals, Lawson shows how Edwards was determined to pursue holiness, engaging in frequent self-examination, comparing his walk to Scriptures in the New Testament and Proverbs on a regular basis. Excellent reading for those who desire to live their life to the glory of God. May we all take up a similar challenge to be "resolved" in our pursuit of holiness. E. Moore
