Challenges in pastoral ministry

This is a book for pastors and students of ministerial training. It comprises messages that Conrad Mbewe gave at the graduates enrichment conference of the Theological College of Central Africa (now called Evangelical University) in 1999. Using the pastoral epistles, he viewed the pastor as prophet (preacher), priest (intercessor) and king (leader). He then applied all these three roles to the challenges pastors were facing at the end of the 20th century. Those challenges continue even today.

Conrad Mbewe (PhD, University of Pretoria) serves as pastor of Kabwata Baptist Church in Lusaka, Zambia, and founding chancellor of the African Christian University. Conrad has authored over nine books and contributed to many others. God blessed him and his wife, Felistas, with three children and three foster children and 9 grandchildren.
