Revelation is an intense book filled with dramatic, sometimes baffling imagery, but we don’t need to fear it. After all, it was written to reveal God’s promises to ordinary believers. Though it may concern the future, it addressed a historical audience and has plenty to say to us in the present. By using Scripture to interpret Scripture, and looking at Revelation as a vivid picture book instead of a cryptic puzzle, we are able to keep our eyes on Christ and persevere in our trials, confident in his ongoing and eternal sovereign rule.

This Reformed Expository Bible Study is designed for personal and group use. Each lesson connects to the rest of the Bible and holds to the same standards as the Reformed Expository Commentary series: a high view of Scripture; a Christ-centered focus; a Reformed theological basis; and an emphasis on personal application and prayer.
