'I first encountered Understanding Biblical Doctrine: A Workbook in Theology in my high school Sunday school class. As someone who had grown up in the church, this workbook was especially helpful to ground me in the theology that I already claimed to believe. My favorite part of this book is the workbook style. First, it required me to look up passages in my own Bible, so I saw how the Word of God explicitly backs these doctrines. Second, the book includes blank lines for writing answers, and this further reinforced my memory of the truths I had just read. With an RP Edition and a Leader's Guide, this workbook is especially useful for Sunday school classes and small group studies, but it is also a wonderful resource for individual study.'
